Dust suppressors

The application of water fog for either preventing or suppressing dust generation is an old practice.

But, present limitations of hydric resourses are pressing for efficiency, being developed various technologies to obtain a water drop atomization in droplet size closer to the dust particle size.

Technology

Fog is produced by flowing pure water at high pressure throught the appropriatte nozzles, producing droplets from 5 to 300 microns size, 80% of them smaller than 100 microns.  The usage of pressure between 180 and 250 psi also increase the coverage area of each nozzle, obtaining very good results with just a few of them, so less tubes, flexibles, valves, etc, are needed if compared with traditional systems, affecting in a positive way installation and day to day maintenance. 

This technology does not use compressed air to produce water atomization.
